When the program detects the presence of photographs with similar areas, it uses that information to create a panoramic photo. You don't need to define the points of control manually, that's Autopano Pro's job.
You can then make various edits to the result, for example: correct the color of any photo within the panorama, eliminate any blur resulting from moving objects, and crop the result to make it fit within a determined format.
